By playing Cashcascade® for START UP SHROPSHIRE, you will be providing some immediate and effective People Power to help tackle the growing unemployment problems that now affects 4 in 10 of Shropshire’s 16 - 24 age groups. Colloquially known as ‘The Jobless Generation’ thousands of young people could be left without paid employment (for years), if we do not take notice and take action quickly.
We need to help these youngsters; there will soon be a million young people
across the UK, struggling to find jobs.
What can you do? Support this weekly lottery-style game and START UP SHROPSHIRE will help the county’s young people MAKE A JOB. Our project is all about providing the tools needed to convert skills and talents into profitable business ventures.
We have a register of successful business people who will act as mentors and the money raised through Cashcascade® will fund training courses, web sites, networks and co-working space for our young would-be entrepreneurs.
We have already delivered some start up workshops locally and here are some of the comments from the attendees:
